Lisa's Turn

Lisa's turn! I generally don't add anything because I'm lazy and I am not sure if people actually want to hear about our trip while potentially getting hypothermia... But apparently you do! So I will talk! 

Chiang Mai was as awesome as it could be considering we were sick. I would have liked to enjoy the food more but we just couldn't eat much. The scooter was soooooooo fun! We saw some nice things and Simon scooted between cars like a boss. We saw a wat and some other stuff... Pretty good day. We also met some nice Irish people who were super drunk at 10 am. They sure loved us! I like to assume it was because we are awesome, not just because of the booze. 

Also did Simon tell you there are a million ex pats here? It was surprising for some reason. Lots of old white people here who are obviously locals. Like the Australian guy at trivia night who goes every week and told me that it's only fun when you're kicking someone's ass. He was not very impressed with me when I told him I was losing and still having fun. Question, who was the British general who surrendered in Yorktown? What plan does ricin come from? Hint, it's not what they say in breaking bad! Anyway it was super hard and we came it last and WE DIDN'T CARE!

Time travel! It's now midnight in Karon. We are at some small outdoor bar around other bars. And there are a lot of Thai hookers! Let me ask you this... Do these old rich men really think these cute young girls are interested in them? They can't be that dumb... Can they? Anyway we are having a lot of fun watching them all. But you know who isn't? Families with small children. Let me take this opportunity to say bravo to my sister and Scott and to Phil and Kyra for not taking your small children to a street of bars and hookers at midnight.  Just a thought... Maybe bed time was a while ago? Especially for that 2 year old I just saw. 

Tonight we also put our feet in the weird fish spa where they eat your feet and make the skin all nice. It was weird. And I liked it! 

Alright. That's it for now. I'm sure Simon told you all the important stuff. Tomorrow we do nothing but my around in the sun and swim. Please don't hate us too much ;).
